Who Jesus Sends | Matthew 10:1-4 ESV

Jesus chose and sent out 12 Apostles to be unique eyewitnesses to his life, death and resurrection. These men (along with a few others) performed signs and wonders, took the good news around the known world and wrote the New Testament scriptures. Their work was unique and the foundation of the church is built on them, with Jesus himself being the cornerstone. Yet, none of the Apostles are alive today but they have all died in Christ. Who does Jesus send today? He sends me and you, for this generation of Christians is responsible for this generation of souls.
