How Jesus Sends | Matthew 10:5-15 ESV

We all know deep in our hearts that we should be involved in the Great Commission of Jesus. But if we are honest, we might feel like he’s given us a task that is too big for us, that we can’t really accomplish.

It’s as if Jesus is a cruel Egyptian taskmaster who has asked us to make bricks but taken away our straw. But why would Jesus give us a task that we couldn’t fulfill? No, the Lord Jesus sends us with all we need.

We have the word of God, we have his presence with us always, he’s sent us in his authority and he’s given us a lot of solid instruction. It really all boils down to this; do we want to do it or not?
