The Good News Of Not Being Enough | Matthew 14:13-21 (ESV)
ECC Pastor Adam McCulloch

Who is Jesus? The Gospel of Matthew was written to answer this question. Matthew shows us that Jesus was fully human: he needed food and sleep, he experienced suffering, and he felt emotions such as compassion and sadness. However, Matthew also demonstrates that Jesus was not only human. He is not simply a good teacher and a wise philosopher but also the Son of God. Matthew’s Gospel proclaims that Jesus is God in the flesh, the promised Messianic King. In today’s passage, we see evidence of Jesus’s compassion and his deity as he miraculously feeds a crowd of more than five thousand men, women, and children.
