Fearing Man, Fearing God | Matthew 14:1-12 (ESV)

Fearing Man, Fearing God | Matthew 14:1-12 (ESV)
ECC Pastor Adam McCulloch

Throughout life, we are regularly faced with the temptation to care more about what people think of us instead of caring about what God thinks about us. We tend to fear man, but don’t fear God. If we continue to allow the fear of others to loom large over our lives, not only will it keep us from trusting in God, but it can also lead us into more and greater sin. In today’s passage, we see the contrast between a king who feared man and a prophet who feared God.
