The Good Hand Of My God | Nehemiah 1-2 (ESV)
God is committed to fulfilling His plans and purposes. Sometimes the situations we face may cause us to think that God is absent or that that He has forgotten His promises. However, if we understand the overarching storyline of Scripture, we know that history is heading towards God’s planned destination. Nehemiah, despite being in a foreign land and hearing about the difficult situation God’s people faced, was confident in God’s promises to His people. Nehemiah prayed, Nehemiah acted, and God graciously responded by using Nehemiah to fulfill His plans.
