Serving God Together In The Face Of Opposition | Nehemiah 3-4 (ESV)
Throughout Scripture, God’s desire for His people is that they are unified around His truth and work together to fulfill His purposes. Opposition to God, His people, and His work will occur, but God’s people are never alone. God promises to help and be with His people as they serve Him, even when enemies are fierce and the task seems impossible. In today’s passage, Nehemiah leads God’s people in the work of rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. With God’s help, they overcome opposition and persevere in the good work that God has prepared for them to do.
