Something Greater | Matthew 12:1-8(ESV)
God gave the law to reveal our need for him, but the human heart is so deceptive that we often use the law to try to be righteous apart from God, as if it were possible. Even with something greater than the law right in front of us, we often miss the presence of the law giver in our self-righteousness. Jesus loves us too much to leave us in our sins, so he lovingly and directly calls us to back himself.
