Francis Shaeffer once wrote a book called “No Little People”. In it, he describes how many Christians feel as though they can’t be used by God because of their weaknesses and limited abilities. However, the Bible views our situation differently. If a Christian recognizes his weaknesses, but then devotes his life to God, then God can use this person for His purposes. With God, all people have value and His power is demonstrated through using weak, limited people to accomplish His purposes. There are no little people and there are no little places. Today’s passage contains a list of people and places that are unknown to most of us. Yet with God they all have significance, and this same truth applies today to every single one of us.
