The Ordinances Of The Church: Baptism - Romans 6:1-4
Protestant churches have historically practiced two church ordinances (sometimes called sacraments, or religious rites). These are Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Baptism is a one-time initiation rite into the Christian church, whereas the Lord’s Supper is a reoccurring practice that signifies one’s ongoing participation in the life of the church family. In today’s sermon, we’ll look at why ECC practices Believer’s Baptism, answer various questions associated with the topic, and understand why it’s important for every Christian to publicly identify with Jesus through baptism.
