In this final message of Ephesians, Paul requests prayer so that he would be able to proclaim the mystery of the gospel. The gospel involves specific content, which includes the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. When Christians understand and believe the gospel, their lives are radically changed. This change shows itself in a variety of ways, including a willingness to suffer for Christ and a spiritual concern for the well-being of other Christians.
