The Heart Of Jesus | Matthew 11:25-30 (ESV)

Does Christianity promise spiritual rest? Can someone actually experience spiritual peace, rest, and assurance of salvation with God? In today’s passage, Jesus provides us with a clear answer. Throughout our world, many people slavishly carry out burdensome, human-made religious duties in order to gain acceptance with God. Yet they never find the kind of spiritual rest and confidence that Christianity offers. Jesus promises a better way. All who humble themselves and come to Jesus for salvation will find forgiveness of sins and acceptance with God. In contrast to man-made religion, Jesus’s yoke is easy and His burden is light.
