The Gospel And Work | 1 Timothy 6:1-2 ESV

Although slavery is illegal in most regions of the world today, we know that human trafficking still exists in different places. Even though most Christians are not trafficked and do not live as slaves, Christians do find themselves working for employers where they are sometimes abused and treated unjustly. Today’s passage reminds us that the gospel produces real change in a believer’s life, and this change shows itself in the way we relate to our employers and those in positions of authority. Christians must work in a way that commends the gospel to a watching world.
