Rejoicing in God During Times of Affliction | Habakkuk 3 (ESV)

Scripture teaches that life in a fallen world is hard. The Christian life involves suffering, and this sometimes includes the suffering that comes from either personal or national sin. However, even in times of trial, God’s people can experience joy. God is always present with His people, and He is actively working to fulfill His eternal, worldwide salvation plan. Knowing that God is faithful means that Christians can be strengthened to live with faith and joy as they wait on God.
