What does it look like to love one another as Christians? In 1 John 3:11–24, John shows us that love for fellow believers is a defining mark of those who have received new life in Christ. We are called to reject the world’s pattern of hate, reflect Christ’s sacrificial love, and rest in God’s assurance when we see our own failures. Because Christ has loved us and laid down his life for us, we can increasingly give ourselves to loving one another.
