Jesus's Desire For Mercy | Matthew 9:9-13 ESV

Christianity is a religion that emphasizes the love and mercy of God. To be clear, the Bible also teaches that humans have sinned against God and deserve His judgment. In order to understand, appreciate and be transformed by God’s mercy, someone must first understand his desperate need for God’s mercy. However, God delights in showing mercy, and because of his love for sinners, he sent his Son Jesus into the world to save us.
