A Time For Everything | Ecclesiastes 3 ESV

There are many different seasons to our lives. These include seasons of joy and seasons of sorrow, seasons of friendship and seasons of loneliness, and seasons of activity and seasons of rest. And although our decisions can impact what kind of seasons we experience, the seasons of our lives are often outside of our control. They happen to us. And this reality reminds us that human beings do not fundamentally control the times – God alone changes times and seasons. Today’s passage teaches that God is overseeing and controlling our lives, and we are to respond by putting our trust in Him and by receiving each and every season as a wise gift from him.
