Who Leads the Church? Elders | 1 Timothy 3:1-7

Who is in charge of the church? Depending on what denomination and church background you come from, a variety of leaders such as bishops, elders, pastors or deacons may have taken prominent leadership roles. However, the Bible does give teaching on this topic. Scripture names certain offices and qualifications for church leadership, including the office of elder. Today’s passage explains the importance of appointing Biblically qualified elders in local churches.
