One Way To God | 1 Timothy 2:5-7

Hong Kong is often described as a city where east meets west, where there is a cultural fusion and mixture of worldview, food, values, and way of life. People hold many diverse beliefs on a variety of topics and are often tolerant and accepting of different religions. However, does the Bible’s teaching align with a pluralistic way of thinking? Are all religions equally true? In a pluralistic city like Hong Kong, how can Christians claim that there is only one way to know God? In today’s passage, 1 Timothy 2:5-7, the apostle Paul explicitly teaches that there is only one God and one mediator between God and man. And that person is Jesus – who voluntarily gave himself to ransom us from our sins.
