In The Footsteps Of Christ | 1 Peter 2:18-25 (ESV)

Christians are strangers and aliens in this world because we follow in the footsteps of Jesus. He was rejected and suffered unjustly. We can expect the same treatment. Jesus calls us to proclaim the excellencies of him who called us out of darkness with our mouths. But we are also to proclaim his excellencies with our lives by doing good, for example to our employers, the good ones and the bad ones. When we are mindful of Christ in our suffering, our reward will be great and we will be sons and daughters of the Most High.
