How To Handle Doubt | Matthew 11:1-15 (ESV)
When Christians go through trials, they can experience doubts and questions. Trials can cause us to reexamine our understanding and expectations of what it means to be a Christian. And this experience is not limited to new or weak Christians. Today’s passage shows us that all people, even the most mature of Christians, can experience doubts and uncertainty. When this occurs, believers must respond by turning to Jesus. Instead of denying the existence of doubt or leaving questions unresolved, Christians must deal honestly with their questions and turn to God in faith. We may not receive all of the answers and mystery may remain, but we can be certain about the good news of the gospel and God’s love for those who put their trust in Him.
