Evaluating Others Rightly | Matthew 7:1-6 (ESV)

We live in a world where we are constantly needing to make judgments and evaluations of others. However, with our need to evaluate, a danger exists. We can easily develop an over-critical spirit and hold people to extra-biblical standards. In addition, we can be hypocrites, condemning people for behaviors that we also sometimes commit. In today’s passage, Jesus warns us that we ought to treat others in light of the reality that we also will one day face judgment.
