Death, Mourning, And Hope | Ecclesiastes 7:1-24 ESV
Death is an uncomfortable and tragic part of our lives. It was not part of the world that God originally created. However, as a result of Adam’s sin, it is now an unavoidable reality for every single human. In order to live wisely, we should not avoid thoughts of death but rather allow our mortality to instruct the way we live our lives. For the Christian, we also know that Christ has conquered death through His resurrection. Because Jesus lives, we don’t have to live in fear of death because we know that one day we also will be raised from the grave to live with God for eternity.
