Asking The All Knowing God To Know You | Psalm 139

Psalm 139 reveals a profound truth: God knows you better than you know yourself. And He should - He created you! He is intricately aware of your every thought and action, and is present in ways you may not realize. As you reflect on this, notice how you feel. Do you feel awestruck? Threatened? Comforted? Indifferent? And what is your response? The psalmist asks God to search and know his heart - an act of love and trust that invites God's revealing light. He pleads for God to lead him in the way everlasting. Is that your plea as well?
