Please lift up the Touch of Hope ministry in India.

Brenda and Larry Cox started Touch of Mercy, a children's home in India a few years ago that has grown to 5 staff and 15 children living together in a residential house.  In December, 2009 they started the 2nd home called Touch of Hope in Vizak which is about 2km away from Touch of Mercy.  The children of the two homes will be schooled together at Touch of Mercy.  The primary focus for these homes is to provide a healthy nurturing environment to raise needy children in India.

They will also be developing partnerships with one or more slum / rural churches in addressing the needs related to extreme poverty.  Providing adequate resources can be secured, they would distribute cooked or uncooked food weekly to members of these small struggling congregations and be an encouragement to them and the communities.  They also plan to provide leadership training to these pastors as needed.

Prayer requests from Larry and Brenda:

1. Their transit to India on February 5th, 2010 can go smoothly
2. Their children, Sarah & Nathan can find employment in Hong Kong
3. More people respond to the Sponsor-a-Child program through Touch of Mercy Ltd.
4. Adding the right staff at the two homes
5. Adding children who are the most needy to the two homes
