Thanksgiving Testimony from a Mission Partner
In a place where the gospel is still restricted, one of our mission partners and the trainees were being detained by local authorities and the training materials were confiscated. Faced with disappointments and uncertain outcomes, God's people held on to His promise that "He is in control". When the interrogation ended and the training materials were returned, they were amazed that the officials asked if they could keep a copy of the materials. Their disappointments turned into amazement and thanksgiving.
Thank God that His Word will change hearts and minds. Please continue to pray for these gospel warriors whether they are in the training rooms or even inside a police station.
Bon Voyage for the Yoons
P. & E. Yoon, one of our mission partners who are called to a new ministry of reaching out to unreached tribal people are waiting for their travel documents to arrive so they can be trained for the ministry in USA and Canada with their 3 young children.
Please pray for timely delivery of their documents and travel mercies when the family embarks on a new journey of many challenges and blessings. Pray for extra strength and grace to cover all their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. |

The Heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. (Psalms 10:1-4)
Dear Father,
May all prayers, songs, works, languages, voices proclaim your Glory to the ends of the world. Amen.
For Mission Fellowship:

Say to God, "How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemy cringe before you. All the earth bows down to you; they sing praise to you, they sing praise to your name." - Psalm 66:2-4

Mongolia Team is on final preparation before leaving in 2 weeks. There are some logistics issues that need your prayer coverage. Though they are smaller items, your prayers are just as significant to make sure that they won't hinder the trip.
For the team, please pray for:
- Confirmation of air tickets for 2 members (still wait listed on one segment of the flights)
- Smooth arrangements for all logistics and preparations
- Health protection so the team can adjust well to the local climate and food
- Good sunny weather during camp
For the Mongolian kids who will attend the camp:
- They can experience JOY and the LOVE of Christ though the team will not be able to openly evangelize to them
- Hearts will be touched and encouraged by the examples of the team
Most importantly, please pray for the spiritual health of the team. May God's grace bring unity to the team, from before, during to after the trip. Despite human plans and efforts, please pray for total submission to spiritual guidance. Through this trip, may fellowship be strengthened among ECC brothers and sisters. |

May the LORD repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge. Ruth 2.12
Please pray for a new outreach opportunity "Operation Boaz".
ECC MOC is partnering with Evangel Grace Church to support and reach out to new immigrant families. 20 ECC brothers and sisters have each committed to be the "Boaz" of a family for one year. They will weekly visit "their family" and be their Boaz, providing caring and services to these families who are in need of a community in this foreign culture.
Please be a "Prayerful Boaz" and support this ministry:
- Praise God for allowing ECC this opportunity to partner with Evangel Grace Church
- Praise God's spirit in mobilizing 20 volunteers from ECC to commit their lives to impact and serve the less privileged. May God's spirit guide and nurture the newly formed relationship. Let trust be established among the new immigrants and they will open their hearts and accept the volunteers into their lives
- Let opportunities be laid down for the gospel to be shared and received
- May the Holy Spirit empower the ECC volunteers to act in spirit and in truth
- When unfavorable situations arise, may the Lord's spirit cover the ECC volunteers so they won't be disheartened and will continue to serve to God's glory
