We need volunteers to lead small group Bible study and become mentors for the youth leaders. Participants must be conversant in Mandarin.

Love Mongolia Camp PDF Print E-mail

The purpose of the trip is to reach out to and spend time with underprivileged kids, who are either orphans or "economic" orphans under the care of a government-run shelter in Outer Mongolia. These are the same kids for whom our Christmas Love Offering gift was raised.

Each summer, the kids are sent to a summer camp, away from the city. Our mission is to show Christ's love by spending time with them. Besides doing games, sports, arts & crafts with the kids, this year, we hope to incorporate more messages of encouragement, moral values and educational, character-building elements into our activities. We are calling for men and women, particularly men, with gentle and loving hearts, who are willing to spend a week at camp with the kids.

Cambodia Trip PDF Print E-mail

Purpose & Mission:

Phnom Penh, once considered to be the loveliest of Indochina's French-built cities, was called the "Pearl of Asia". For some, the capital city can be quite a shock. Phnom Penh can be a very hot and dusty, the streets are busy with cars, people, motorbikes and street children begging for hand outs. In the past 30 years the country has undergone extreme challenges, war and destruction. Poverty can be seen in every corner.

ECC sent the first STM team to Cambodia last year, we now wants to look forward and begin to frame a vision for future trips to Cambodia and more particularly our next trip in December 2010.

The purpose and vision for Cambodia December 2010,

· To connect and network with churches, pastors, leaders and mission agency field workers within a local region of Cambodia that have the gospel at heart, with the view of securing a long term partnering arrangement

· To provide hands-on, practical, active service using our time, energy, skills and resources to help meet immediate physical and emotional needs and to share the gospel

Our program will encompass sharing love, compassion and support to orphan children rescued from a life on the streets and HIV positive children; working with school and churches in rural area and sharing the good news with the communities.

We need volunteers with a lot of patience and come prepared with creative ideas and games to share with the kids and communities at large.

Date: December 2010
Cost: Approximately HK$4,500
