Details of Workshops
Women in the Workplace
Led by Carolyn Khoo
This workshop aims to explore ways in which working women can more proactively think about and develop careers. In what can often be a male-dominated workplace, female employees may find it difficult to make themselves heard, acknowledged, or given stretch assignments which would develop them professionally and personally. As Christian women in the workplace, there is the added tension between the often secular demands of the job and what Christ calls us to as salt and light in the world. This interactive session will draw on experiences, best-practices, struggles and challenges of all participants, so come with a willingness to share and bless others.
