What does he enjoy most about life and ministry at ECC and Hong Kong?
"I deeply appreciate being in a church and city which is a commercial and ideological crossroads for people from all over the world. It's fertile and challenging soil for the good news-the utterly unique Jesus story, that cuts across culture and which enables us to live deeply not superficially; to live personally not impersonally and to live compassionately and not manipulatively. I'm so amazed by the creative energy in Hong Kong, particularly in the Christians I find. Its a wonder to me and a gift to be here.

Director of Youth Ministry
I joined the staff at ECC in August 2008. Before comming to ECC I served as a youth pastor for three years at the EFG Weimar Baptist Church in East Germany. In 2005 I completed my M.Div at Truett Seminary (Baylor University) in Texas.
What does he enjoy most about life and ministry at ECC and Hong Kong?
First and foremost I enjoy my Christian brothers and sisters at ECC. Its a place where I can connect with people in a deep and meaningful way. Serving the youth gives me much joy. I delight in getting to know them, watch how friendships develop, hearts grow closer to God and faith is strengthened in their lives. That for me is exciting stuff!
If I had an "I Love Hong Kong" T-Shirt, I would wear it. What other city this size is so safe, has beaches and hills close by waiting to be explored, good food and sky scrapers?... All things that make my heart beat faster; a dynamite combination!
